Mary Rose’s Dinner Plates are 11 inches in diameter and an extremely decorative accompaniment to any food you may be eating! Roses painted in this way where each rose is made up of several different colours has been known as “New Rose” because it was her second rose design. Of course “New Rose” is no longer new…these plates are a re-visiting by Mary Rose of one of the designs that got her noticed. There is no gold meaning that these plates are microwaveable and a pale background in the centre seems to push the bright colours even more starkly.
