Mary Rose makes a Chandelier
Each of the beads that cloak the arms of her chandeliers are rolled out of clay, decorated and glazed individually. This chandelier is to be a “tea set” and having already thrown the central pot and the six cups and saucers, our favourite artist will spend today doing the beads. The piece will be illuminating Winterthur in Switzerland where “Teekult Tearoom” are located. Even now if you Google Image “tea set chandelier” Mary Rose’s remarkable pieces show up on the first page – an incredible achievement given the billions of other items from the history of the world that any search gets chosen from.
