Pretty in Pink
One of Mary Rose’s little projects this last month was a Pale Rose Pink Dinner Set for a wonderful lady in Tennessee. There were sets of 8 Dinner Plates and Side Plates in a selection of varieties on the theme with the pink and the mother of pearl swapping places effortlessly, occasionally enhanced by both pink and gold dots. The set was a joy to make and we hope that it witnesses and encourages many memorable candlelit get togethers. As Robert Louis Stevenson reminded us “There is only one difference between a long life and a good dinner: that, in the dinner the sweets come last.”
