The Big Store
Our dear friends in the Harvey Nichols food department have once again given Mary Rose a fantastic prominence in their stores leading up to Easter. They have ordered egg cups in black and white designs which are being sold in a presentation box already loaded with a chocolate egg, and they are also selling a two part egg with rabbit ears, with the egg opening up to reveal that it too has been stuffed with chocolates. These pieces feature in all Harvey Nichols stores and the above photo is the display in Knightsbridge. To us there is always something extra thrilling about a London Department Store… does that mean we’re country bumpkins? I hope not and movies like “Elf” and “Breakfast at Tiffanys” suggest that the whole world still finds the atmosphere in these places utterly unique.
