That Last Resting Place…
If you can ever come to terms with the possibility that you may die, (I find it impossible) then there are all kinds of morbid things that you could be planning that may not feel morbid at all if they involved something deliberately fun. What if your last resting place was an eye catching-ly attractive conversation piece? The widow of an avid Mary Rose fan is certainly thinking just that… he thinks that his and his late wife’s ashes should be combined and scattered both in the Churchyard and amongst the greenery of their much loved Forest of Dean. So Mary Rose was called upon to design a pair of Cremation Caskets or Urns made in the theme of the 2 places. There’s something we just love about the church one…. it looks much more like a fairy tale castle… and there’s something very evocative about your ashes waiting in your own castle just like Rapunzel waiting for the day… both of these pieces have a lid that lifts off just like your spirit hopefully will!

6th June 2021 at 10:16 amHello my daughter died on Monday she sadly was 21. I know Mr Griffiths and love this idea that he has created and love your art work. Yasmin loved art and I would like to commission a piece for us to have in out kitchen a small keepsake for some of her ashes to sit in.
We are a strong loving spiritual family and Yasmin loved the malverns partying and the sea believed in angels.
