Mary Rose has had a lot of success recently with stunning designs painted onto a plain iridescent background…. The sea of mother of pearl seems to emphasise the bright colours of any design and make them all the more attractive. Vintage Floral, Gold New Rose on mother of pearl, and most recently Petit Fleur are all examples. Now in 2021 it’s the turn of daisies, but this time Mary Rose varies the sizes of these daisies – a simple enough device but wonderfully eye catching.
