Something to Crow about
Amongst Mary Rose earliest designs of roses, stripes and dots there were two hectic Bird Designs…. Chicken and Crow. They feel like old friends linking us to the crazy days when we ran around just like frantic birds ourselves! Our dear friend Merve (that’s a lady’s name) at Atelier Fatale in Lichtenstein ordered this little set and that’s what brought us down this particular memory lane. Mary Rose’s patronage is one thing the two birds have in common, another is their unusual intelligence….they can recognise human faces and crows have even figured out traffic lights!
