Clock a Doodle Dooo

A multiflower encrusted clock. It was a special order completed last week for two of our favourite collectors who live in California. Photos of their home and chandelier have appeared here before! This model has been decorated in the “Black and White and Mother of Pearl” style with brightly coloured encrusted flowers. There are 18 flowers surrounding the clock face so each one represents 3 minutes and 20 seconds which is exactly the time it takes to boil a soft egg…so if that is your particular morning meal, imagine how convenient this clock could be… all you’d have to do is study the clockface closely until the second hand gets to the next join between two flowers and your egg would be done. So much easier than a kitchen timer.
