The Easter Parade
This year Easter Sunday is March 31st meaning it’s only a little over 5 weeks away. So it’s definitely the right time to be considering Mary Rose’s beautiful selection of these Harbingers of Spring. When we were young our mother disapproved of “shop bought chocolate Easter Eggs” and we had to make do with a papier mache hollow egg each that she deigned to fill with sweets when the great day came. How we craved the commercial products she hated, and it’s ironic that now Mary Rose has re-worked our mother’s cardboard shells into a thing of wonder. Her eggs are happy and elegant and have so much character that they could almost be alive. Easter is to celebrate and these symbols reflect that. Click here to see a few examples
